Hard Floor Cleaner FC 5
No More Scrubbing!

I was so giddy to have the opportunity to try this 2-in-1 floor cleaner/vacuum. I usually use a traditional spin mop with bucket so this was a completely different product and experience. It literally does the scrubbing for you! The mop rollers spin quickly to "scrub" your hard floors. Here is a list I've created of the pros and cons after using it.
Pros:
- It does the scrubbing for you.
- It's easier on your back since you don't have to aggressively scrub the extra dirty spots. Just hover over that spot a bit longer and it cleans it right up.
- It has a long cord so you don't have to keep moving the plug. I also like that it is corded and not cordless so I don't have to worry about a battery losing power.
- It has suction to vacuum up small crumbs.
- The fresh water tank is easy to fill. You can lay it down flat after you've filled it with water which makes it easy to add the capful of cleaning solution.
- The waste water tank is easy to remove, empty and reattach.
- I like that it has a storage base for easy storage. It has a flat part to step on for easier removal of the floor cleaner.
- The rollers are easy to attach and remove for cleaning.
- Leaves a clean finish on matte surfaces.
- I think this is great for seniors and people with physical limitations since you don't have to use so much effort like a transitional mop.
Cons:
- It's heavier than I expected.
- Since the rollers spin, it takes some arm strength to push against the force of them so the floor cleaner doesn't get away on you. If you're using this for long periods of time, your arms might get tired.
- I first tried this before vacuuming with my regular vacuum and I found it difficult to get all the debris. I recommend still vacuuming like normal before using this and only relying on the suction of this to pick up any missed crumbs.
- If you have a larger house you'll need to refill the fresh water tank and empty the waste water tank before you're finished.
- I don't recommend using this on shiny surfaces like shiny tile. It left very visible water marks on mine after drying. With my spin mop I use very hot water to minimize water spots but with this floor cleaner the instructions say to only use cold or lukewarm water. It left no water spots on my laminate flooring though.
Overall, I would recommend this floor cleaner/vacuum if you have matte floor surfaces. It's a very unique product that does the job with less effort.
