Amazing Picture Quality

I am a avid AV enthusiast and this is by far the best TV I have come across. My previous TV was a 1080P plasma which was manufactured in 2014 essentially the last line up of Plasma televisions. I decided to go with Plasma at that time because the picture quality blew LCD/LED 1080p models out of the water with colour accuracy and black levels.
Moving to the OLED technology was the obvious step because of the amazing black levels and the ability for the tv to turn off each pixel basically similarly to the Plasma technology.
If you are looking for a TV and picture quality is a high priority definitely go for a LG OLED you will not be disappointed. So far I have watched a few HDR videos and a few videos with fireworks etc to see how the panel reacts to bright and dark scenes. For those thinking that they can not go for OLED because they have a bright room think again this panel is super bright and has no issues in our bright condo!. As with any flat panel tv id recommend some sort of audio solution, go for a soundbar or even a simple 2.1 channel setup with a mini-amp, can't go wrong as anything is better than built in tv speakers.
Also, for those that are concerned about image retention and burn-in that was an issue with Plasmas as well, and I never faced any of those issues playing video games and watching movies.
The LG tv has a technology that shifts the picture around which is not noticeable to help aid with image retention. If you do have image retention it will likely go away on its own. Burn-In is considered permanent and image-retention is temporary so keep that in mind. OLED technology has been around for a few years now so I wouldn't worry about image retention and burn-in concerns at all.
Bottom line, go with the LG OLED!
