Firstly, the packaging of the G8 does not leave room for error. Upon opening this beautifully packaged beast, I was in awww. The packaging was delicately handled with extreme care. Upon pulling out the monitor from it's old home to be brought into it's new world where it will not disappoint to glow and shine it's pure beauty off in a very near future. The Samsung G8 was extremely painless and easy to assemble. It was with such ease, I could have had my 8 year old son do it with no instructions or adult supervision. The lengthier portion of the setup was the menu navigation, entering Samsung credentials with 2-step verification and a significant update. Otherwise, it was a smooth process. The wait is well worth it. Once connected to my son's and my newly built Gaming PC which is equipped with 32 DDR5 RAM, Z790 Gigabyte MB, Intel 13600KF and a whopping Gigabyte Nvidia 4070 Ti GPU, we were sure to be in awww. The graphics are bouncing out to our faces. We see every detailed color beautiful glow off our faces. It lights up the room. The RGB in behind the panel is set to extend the field of vision by mimicking the colors (flawlessly) to match what's on the screen. Upon the first "bullet" shot from our "Cronen Squall", the sound from the internal speakers matched pretty well (soon to be updated to external THX Certified 2.1 Media Klipsch speakers). We as a family were not disappointed.
The smart features are quite fast. We tested Netflix, Hulu and Samsung TV without disappointment and were extremely satisfied with the visuals, load times and all around quality.
So far, the G8 is Gr8t!
