Sleek workhorse of a machine

My wife and I recently got the Samsung AI Smart Dial front load washer and dryer set. I never thought I'd have strong feelings about how my washer/dryer looked, but the finish on the body and glass is very modern looking. Performance wise its a big step up from our previous unit. It cleans very well, has an auto detergent dispenser, and is very quiet while running. It is very spacious for the small footprint, and has lots of features that add to the overall laundry experience. The integration with Samsung Smart Things required just scanning a QR code, and now we can control the machine and see its status from the other room (or even while out). It comes pre-loaded with a ton of different cycle types depending on what you are washing- I only wish there was a better explanation of the subtle differences between them. If both the washer and dryer are linked in Smart Things, the dryer knows the appropriate cycle to queue up automatically which is nice. So If I run a bulky wash for a blanket, the dryer turns on with a heavy duty cycle to match it. Same goes for delicate loads. A very neat feature, for sure. The dryer seems to be very powerful, as I notice the air vent leaving our house is blowing much harder. The only negatives I have about the pair are that a few accessories are not included, such as the multi control kit that links the two units, allowing you to control the dryer from the washer while they are stacked. The screen on the top unit is a bit hard to see, so including the cable would have been appreciated. Also they do not include the stacking kit. Although I can appreciate not causing extra waste by including them for people that will not need them, spending $70 post delivery was a bit annoying. Overall, I am very pleased with both the Samsung AI Smart Dial Washer and Dryer, and would readily recommend them to anyone. I already had family ask about them over Thanksgiving!
