The Freestyle Projector
Great portable projector…

The Samsung Freestyle is a nice projector but could use a few updates/ tweaks to its platform/ navigation system to make the experience better for the viewer. Regardless, the Samsung Freestyle is a very good option for those who want to be able to easily take their projector on the go.
Pros:
*Appearance: Currently offered in a white color, the Samsung Freestyle is sleek and has a smooth look. It’s small so you can easily incorporate it into your bookshelf or on a table. Overall, would say that it is a different look for a projector and appeals to the eye.
*Portable: The Samsung Freestyle is small and is easy to travel with. Samsung currently offers a travel case to make it even easier to travel with. If you have a power bank, you can also project without having to connect to an outlet. I did not get a chance to test out longevity of the projector with a power bank, so something to look out for.
*Auto-adjustment: Upon connecting the projector auto-adjusts to your projection surface and you can also check the settings to re-adjust or manually adjust the projector settings. Only issue here was that, depending on the surface you project to, you may have to manually adjust the settings, as auto-adjust will not accurately adjust to your projection surface.
*Connecting to other Samsung devices: I was able to seamlessly connect to my tablet, and I even connected my Samsung soundtower to the projector. No issues there and it worked like a charm- was able to get a nice movie experience by projecting with the Freestyle and getting audio from the soundtower.
*Capabilities: There are so many more capabilities that the Samsung Freestyle has that I have yet to test out, which is a great thing because the Samsung Freestyle can then be used as an entertainment system that offers viewers/users multiple use-options.
Cons
*Slow Navigation: The navigation was slow to start and at times would boot me back to the home page. Also, regardless of what you are streaming, clicking on the settings would automatically take you back to the home page (and allow you to adjust the setting). So essentially, opening the setting would kick you off whatever you are watching to be able to make changes. Hopefully Samsung can fix this with a software update.
*Auto-adjustment: The auto-adjust feature can struggle to auto-adjust to surroundings/ projection surface.
*1080: I know the Freestyle is advertised as only being able to project in 1080 but would have loved if it could project in 4k.
