Joie Egg Ring
Quality product for egg…

I evaluated the Joie Egg Ring. Using a small copper skillet, I melted butter then cracked one medium sized egg into the ring which I placed into the center of the pan. I cooked until the white was solid. I then removed the ring and flipped the egg because the yolk was not cooking. The egg held together perfectly in a round form. The ring held up well and the little egg face handle was easy to use to place and remove the ring. While the first egg was cooking, I used the ring near the outside edge of the pan. The egg slightly ran under the ring because it was 100% flat against the edge of the pan, although it looked like it was. So lesson is make sure you are in the center of the pan for best results. The cooked egg white was a little tough and hard to cut with a fork or knife as is normal when eating a fried egg. The yolk was runny. I think it was because the egg was thicker since it didn’t spread out. I had the choice of over cooked white for had yolk, or normal white and runny yolk. It would be good on a sandwich where teeth would be cutting through the egg. The soft silicone ring was easy to clean.
So I would give the quality of the egg ring a thumbs up, but the cooked product, not so good. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
