CJG5 Curved Gaming Monitor
A must for gaming

For a while now I’ve had a pretty powerful gaming rig with a full racing sim setup, but never upgraded to a gaming monitor. What was I waiting for? I missed out on so much. I have never seen the full potential of my system until now. I’ve been playing on a 24” 1080p display 60Hz.
Out of the box, the Samsung 32” CJG5 is very clean looking. It has the power/selector switch on the bottom center of the screen with a minimal bezel on top and sides. It has a DisplayPort, two HDMI and a headphone jack. It comes with a power adapter and an HDMI cable. I wish it would have came with a DisplayPort cable instead like most modern monitors. As soon as I installed it and powered it on, I realized what I’ve been missing.
At 2560x1440 with the larger screen, everything looks very sharp and clean. After playing a couple of FPS, the first thing I noticed was that the screen tearing was completely gone. At 144Hz, my games are all so smooth. So I am able to bring it closer and setup my racing sim, and all I can say is WOW! It sad to know I’ve e been playing this way all this time. Everything looks much more realistic because of how smooth everything moves. The blacks are much darker and gives my games more depth. The curved screen feels easier on the eyes since it’s the same distance from your eyes to the screen whether looking at the center or the sides. Your eyes don’t have to focus as much when looking at the center or the corners, so you get less eye fatigue.
When being productive on my computer, the larger screen gives me more room to open and view multiple windows at the same time on the same screen. It’s very bright, yet has an “eye saver” mode that helps block blue light. Over all this is by far the best monitor I have used and already had a friend see and and wants to purchase one for himself. I highly recommend this monitor.
