Combine the beauty of Samsung's most beautiful design to the beast of the snapdragon engine coupled with an unrivaled android experience and what you get is the Samsung galaxy S8+.
From the very beginning Samsung has lead the way in beautiful industrial design and what started as a small iteration in the Galaxy note edge is now on all of Samsung's flagship phones. Needless to say there is no other phone in the market that rivals Samsung in the Android space. To walk you through my review I have split my review into simpler aspects that I know are important to me as a consumer:
User Interface - 9/10 With Samsung's recent move to near stock android UI, the touch wiz interface has been simplified bearing in mind the user experience and ease of accessing your favorite apps through minimum gestures. At the same time, Samsung has not held back on enhancements with its additional features like game center and other business and personal applications. There are minimal lags and stutters as the operating system is back by the latest and greatest Snapdragon engine!
Battery Life: 8.5/10 Galaxy note 7's explosive batteries last year left Samsung with choosing the safer option of including only 3500Mah in the phone. Don't get me wrong the battery is more than enough to get you through a whole day of not too heavy use but you will still find yourself wanting to charge this the moment you get home. The inclusion of wireless charging make this phone quite the appeal now that the entire market is moving to wireless charging. So, yes Samsung got there before the industry leaders could!
Camera - 10/10 With the 12MP rear and 8MP front facing camera you are left with little complaint about. Samsung takes stunning pictures, I have included some pictures that I took that I know could not have looked so good if it were not for the S8+ camera! Needless to say the inclusion of 4K video recording along with 1080p at 60fps leaves little to want. All in all one of the best smartphone cameras out there!
Hardware: 8/10 Let's start at the fact that there is a headphone jack, so you will not be hanging by the wire #DongleLife. When you throw in the latest snapdragon processor along with an Adreno 540 GPE all your games and apps fly and operate buttery smooth. And, when you throw in a beautiful and whopping 1440*2960 resolution on a phone you see that the screen can only stun you. All in all great hardware!
Verdict: Go buy
