I got the package delivered to my home, and tried it on immediately, but only got around to reviewing it about a week later. First impressions: Comfortable, surprisingly ventilated, and easy to adjust.
The mask is made up of 2 layers; a washable exterior, and a long-use (note: depending on environmental condition) replaceable inner layer. The mask is easy to setup - from the box, remove the inner later and clip it onto the inside of the exterior layer - first the ventilation fan, then the two slot-in clips to secure the sides. And.... you're done!
To put on the mask, just fiddle with the two adjustable straps at the side and loop them around the ears at your desired tightness. Then press down on the foam-insulated nose clip to fit it around your nose-bridge. Onto the ventilation fan: it comes with 4 settings - Off, Minimum, Medium, Maximum. I have it set to Medium most of the time as it seems to give a good balance between air flow and battery usage.
So far, experience has been good, though I haven't used it as much as I have to as I've been trying to hunt down the replacement part for the inner mask - it is listed as FY0086/00 on the Philips web site, but relatively hard to find in retail stores. It was also supposed to sell on a number of said retail shops' web stores, but have been out-of-stock or on pre-order as of 16 Oct 21. And it can be pricey too.
Last words: a comfortable mask that's simple to use and works well for what it does. Mostly low profile with a touch of futurism (the fan pops out from the otherwise sleek black design), the longevity of the mask may really depend on the availability and affordability of the inner mask. Budget aside, will reccommend!
