Most value for money

The LG TONE Free FN7 is an outstanding pair of stem-style true wireless earbuds. Whether you intend to use it casually, or for your run/gym session (it has IPX4 rating), the FN7 is an excellent choice with probably just a couple of excusable shortcomings.
Unboxing the FN7, the astonishingly compact, circular charging case gives a clean, sleek look with a simple button at the side and two LED light in front. LG claims claims that the charging case can kill 99.9% of bacteria on your earbuds within 10 minutes. This really makes the FN7 stands out among the rest of the earbuds in the market because in this time of the pandemic, we will really appreciate any kind of features that help us sterilize and clean the things we use every day. When plugged in, the LED light for the “UVnano” should light up blue, indicating that sterilization is in place.
My Android phone prompted me that it detected the FN7 earbuds right after I opened the charging case, and suggested that I download the TONE app. I did not have to manually pair the earbuds, nor search for the app on the Playstore.
The earbuds are light and well-balanced. It is important that the earbuds are well-balanced for them to stay in place and not shake around when we walk or move. There is also a touch pad on the side of each earbud. One thing I really like about the touchpad is that it will create a chime sound whenever you touched it, letting me know if I touched it or missed it.
The quality of the sound is impressive, after all the earbuds were created with the Meridian Audio. The ANC feature also worked very well for me. High mode will cancel out most of the background noise, and Low mode will cancel less. You can control the ANC either by touching the touch pads, or via the TONE app.
The UI of the app is simple and friendly to use. It shows the battery remaining in the charging case and in the earbuds. There are also the equalizer settings that give four standard modes given by Meridian Audio. We can also to customize up to two different equalizer settings. The user manual can also be found in the app, which makes things convenient for the user. One other function which I loved is it has the “Find my earbuds” function, that gives off a chirping sound from the earbud. So, kudos to the design team!
Two things I find need improvement are the battery life of the earbuds after each full charge, and the occasional connection dropping. It can get a little annoying especially if it happened often in a movie.
