Sleek and Functional Earbuds

This is my first pair of wireless earbuds and I like the experience so much that I doubt I’ll go back to wired headsets again. The LG Tone Free is sleek, functional and stands out for its UVnano technology. Sound experience is customizable though the app though the difference is honestly not largely noticeable for the average joe or for conference calls. I’ll recommend this pair of ear buds to those who are searching for something functional, honest and clean at a decent price point.
First impressions count and I like the look of the LG Tone Free earbuds; it looks outstandingly sleek in a curved compact casing with very attractive backlights. The casing feels good in my palms and I feel somehow feel empowered to use this for my work conference calls rather than the wired headsets which can look clumsy over videos. The best part is that the wireless earbuds do not press against my spectacles which used to give me headaches from long calls. Three different ear gels of various sizes were also provided and I switched to a smaller one for a better fit.
Pairing with my phone was idiot-proof as there were instructions on both phone and LG Tone Free app which popped up to guide me through the process. The sound experience is customizable but honestly it did not matter much for work calls and was hardly noticeable for normal day-to-day listening. I tested the Active Noise Cancellation which unfortunately fared poorly both on the bus and while walking along the streets, I could definitely hear my surroundings loudly and had to turn up the music to drown out the background noise while I was on the bus.
For calls, I found myself speaking louder than usual as I’m unsure if the earbuds could pick up sound well but my counterparts reassured that they could hear me loud and clear so no issues there and I continued on with a couple more meetings. Battery life is great and it could certainly go without charge for a few days with minimal use. The touch buttons are quite sensitive though, my music would pause whenever I adjust the earphones so it’ll be better if there was some sort of button or if the ‘touch pads’ were adjusted to another location on the earbuds.
Overall, I find it to be a great tool for my work calls when I’m working from home. I would not need to adjust the earbuds frequently so the sensitive touch pads will not be activated, it looks great on camera and functions well over long hours.
