Sleek compact earbuds with…

The first impression upon receiving the earbuds was that it was sleek and compact. The charging case is small enough to allow one to bring it out by putting it into the pocket. The material of the case also felt like a premium product.
I've used the earbuds paired with my iPhone 12 mini, and mainly for listening to audiobooks or podcasts when on the move. The sound is clear and crisp, and certainly no issues for listening on everyday commute. Surprisingly I've found the noise cancellation at low level to be better than at high, as it sounded much more natural. On high noise cancellation, I have found that there is an 'air-lock' effect of being in a vacuum which I found a bit disconcerting. The ambient sound mode is handy when you need to have a brief conversation in your daily activities. Altogether, I like the sound profile as it was natural, e.g. not overly emphasising on bass notes.
Perhaps what distinguishes the earbuds I feel is the additional little features that add that little bit more value as a purchase. WIth the accompanying Tone app, there is a find my earbuds feature which is handy should you lose one of them. Also you could configure the touch controls to suit your usage and purposes, and there is even a feature that enables notifications to be read out to you. On the last-mentioned feature, it can be a bit disruptive though if you have in-coming messages frequently.
I would think this is a pair of earbuds worth its value if priced below S$200, given the sound quality and features. One thing to note though that the touch controls on the buds are quite sensitive, and you may accidentally trigger a setting when putting the buds on.
