Good, if a little pricey

First impression: The box is stylish with a matt finish and not over cluttered with writing or images. One side detail the model number, serial number etc.
The box cove slides off easily revealing the inner box that has simplified use instructions, a nice touch.
Opening it reveals a set of outlines showing the main buttons and features on the inner flap. The first instruction i s 'Download the free Jabra Direct software' but there is no URL (I am supposed to just search for it?)- The download is around 86 MB.
The headset itself is mounted on a card insert with the felt case behind. The headset is smaller than I expected as my previous headset was large. The headset has the behind ear hook and one of the earpieces already attached (the Right ear one).
Inside the felt case is the USB-C transmitter, a headband, a neck band, USBC to Micro USB cable and a small envelope containing three different sized ear inserts used to ensure a good fit (the Left-hand pair to the one already fitted, and the L + R smaller inserts).
There is also a 'how to wear' pamphlet showing hoe the headset attaches to each of the head bands/ear pieces - another useful touch. . and in my case a necessary one as I struggled a bit fitting the alternative ear inserts to the headset.
Initial impressions of the different mounts is that the over ear mount feels like it holds the device firmly but the neck and head band fell a little less secure.
I fitted the headband and it felt noticeably light without pressing too hard on the ear. Inserting the transmitter into the computer instantly the headset confirmed it was connected.
I tried the Teams test call function and was pleasantly surprised at the clarity of my recorded voice. I also tried playing music and TV program, and both sounded clear. The headset is clearly tuned to voice as the bass was, unsurprisingly, a little dull and weak.
I have now used it for a couple of days, and I am pleased to say the device is still attached to the headband which is reassuring considering my earlier comments. The range is a lot better than any headset I’ve used in the past with no noticeable sound issues
The battery life seems reasonable, under heavy use I have had to charge it in the afternoon but usually it lasts all day.
Do I prefer it to my last headset, well no, but that one could also connect to a desk phone and a mobile phone (via Bluetooth) so it is not a fair comparison. For what it is, it worked very well and is light enough to wear all
