Quality in a compact package

Jabra as some of you may be aware, took the route of heavy marketing with competitively priced hardware to get into the spotlight of the earbud market, but it was not just the popular personalities endorsing them that lead to their success, it was the quality of the hardware.
This can be said for the Elite 5 earbuds too, they are well made and feel like quality items rather than cheap throwaway toys.
The most notable feature for me is the quality of the noise cancelling, it is very good. In a room with a washing machine running, it becomes barely audible when ANC is turned on. With music playing it is completely cancelled out.
During exercise they stell in place well, no incidents of falling out, however, they did occasionally come loose and with the click button being the entire surface of the bud, pushing them back in also activated the button which was not ideal.
Sound quality is good, but volume is lacking. In order to avoid washing out the music, they evidentially limited the volume output, this means during intense work or in very loud environments, the volume of the media wont always be able to combat the environmental noise.
Battery life was good, they come with a fairly large case which means you will have plenty of re-charges available, however, as will also earbuds, you will still be stuck carrying a case around with you at all times you may want to use or store the buds.
Personally due to the lack of volume and punch in audio volume, these are to be used for sports and whilst on the daily grind rather than for a musical experience, but, that is reasonable given the cost and target audience for these earbuds.
