My Initial impressions of the TV were great. Plenty of inputs for my external devices. The choice of Freesat and Freeview. Quick to set up and an amazing remote control. I experimented with Alexa and mirrored from my phone. The apps are fantastic. However, after less than 2 weeks it developed a fault. A purple static line across the bottom of the picture which I cleared by turning the TV off and on again. LG responded quickly to my email stating that it was an issue they were aware of and they hoped to be able to resolve it with a software update. They advised me to avoid using the HD channels. Not something I expected to hear!! They are unable to replace the TV. I then loose the HD channels completely. To say I am disappointed with LGs response is an understatement as they are unable to give me a date for the software update. Finally the menus pixelate. Once again I am turning it off and on. A second request for a replacement is turned down. I love the TV but have completely lost faith in the Brand and its customer service. The software update finally arrived and my HD channels are restored. I now find myself waiting for the next problem. This is a shame because I want to enjoy the product, I want to sing its praises and the Company that manufactured it. I can’t do that!
