Real Good, but could be…

The picture quality on this TV is unreal. The depth of the images even watching kids TV show Bluey on it a far superior than the standard QLED it replaced.
The sound watching some choice Marvel films to put it through its paces is actually quite remarkable considering its coming from a flat panel. My wife made me turn it down a few times because little fella was in bed.
I'm still playing with it and learning new features etc, but as its primarily being used as a streaming TV it would be very useful to turn off the TV Programming bits on it. We don't have an aerial on our house or a set top box so its a little frustrating that I keep turning it on to the default programme 1 and seeing TV as my recent input.
The idea of getting this TV is we dont need any set top boxes, we have all the amazing apps preloaded.
I've set it up easily with Apple HomeKit and slowly getting to grips with controlling it with my voice.
With that in mind, the advertisements on the home screen, what's that all about?
A third of my screen real estate the last day or so has been taken up by a massive Amazon Alexa banner. I know its built in but I've set my TV up with HomeKit and don't want to use Alexa, stop advertising it!
Also ads for content on apps that I don't use and have no intention of using. Is there any way to turn this off does anyone know?
All in all a cracking TV but with a few little niggles that I can't seem to get rid of. Maybe its just me, dont let it put you off.
