LG, who knew!!

I’ve always sought to have good quality TVs – you get what you pay for, right? Having had the same brand of TVs for 20+years I was a little nervous about making this leap to LG. Whilst I recognise the LG brand, I knew very little about them. So, I did my research, and all the independent reviews were very positive. Simply put, they were right to be so positive about this TV. The colours are exceptional, the screen is so thin it brought me out in sweats unboxing it! The interface is so easy to use. Moving between Apps is seamless, and instant. I do however have a niggle or two (I’m a grumpy old man so be expected) – the sound is very very good, but not amazing. If I run it through a quality, but rather old AV amplifier, I get an echo effect which is strange and frustrating in equal measure. My final niggle is that it constantly wants a re-tune of TV channels – this may be unique to me / the area I live, I don’t know, but my previous TVs didn’t do this. The ultimate question: would I recommend this TV to others? 100%, yes. The positives far outweigh the ever so slightly annoying ones, very pleased with the purchase.
