OMG What a TV!

I decided to replace my 6-year-old LG E6 with the 55G2.
There was a lot more work to flush mount the TV on a brick wall than the E6. After much labour it was time to hang the TV and connect it. The set-up was very easy but it seemed to take a while to actually view a live channel. However, when I finally got there I immediately noticed the picture was so much brighter and more detailed than I had been used to.
I then tried my favourite DVD disc 'Gemini Man' (4K Blu-ray 60 FPS). I was absolutely gobsmacked...the most incredible TV picture I have ever seen! Such an amazing upgrade from the E6.
There are some disadvantages:-
1. No 3D (I really miss this)
2. Power lead is not removable (made wall mounting a lot harder)
3. Ai sound is quite good, but not a patch on the E6 integrated soundbar
4. Cheap and nasty looking remote (a far cry from the 2 aluminium finish remotes supplied with the E6)
Other than those few moans, I am so happy with this amazing TV!
