A Fantastic TV

I was a little terrified when I first received the TV as this model is meant to be wall-mounted and being the clumsy fool that I am, I thought about all the ways in which that may go horribly wrong. However, LG has clearly thought about this and gives you everything you need in the box to get the TV flush with the wall. This worked perfectly and was able to wall-mount the following day.
As a big gamer and a video editor with a home office, I thought I could really test the capabilities of the TV. The 120hz refresh rate which both of my game consoles make full use of. This is probably where the TV is miles ahead of the competition but what surprised me the most was the number of things you can use the screen for.
One of my favourite modes is filmmaker mode. In this mode, the picture adapts to what you are watching so that you get the optimum picture experience. This has always been a problem with 4K TVs in the past but this clever workaround means that the picture will automatically detect and make adjustments based on the source of the video, meaning you always get the best experience without having to fiddle with the in-depth controls yourself.
As a video editor, I was looking for a screen I could share things to from my PC so I could see what things looked like on something larger than a monitor. This model has all the bells and whistles (ThinQ AI) to make that possible and I can easily see it becoming part of my regular workflow. Also being able to edit from the sofa is new, I just need a dinner tray for my mouse mat!
I honestly could not recommend this tv enough, LG has excelled here at creating a TV with all the right components to make this easy to use and achieve the best possible quality of image for gaming, work and streaming films. When choosing a tv, it can become very easy to get bogged down in nit counts and contrast ratios. So if you are already partway down that road, just get this tv!
