Ok 1st the boring bit, the unboxing, well that's anything but boring. You cut the 2 straps and lift, yes lift the box off the tv. No more struggling trying to lift out the tv. Ingenious.
The stand was easy to fix to the tv and is sturdy and stylish.
We were a bit worried the tv would be a bit over powering size wise, but as it's so slim, it doesn't feel much larger than our old 1.
Set up was easy, pretty much plug and go, the tv connected straight to the Wi-Fi, so no need to plug the ethernet cable in.
Initially it picked up that the cctv was plugged in, but we couldn't get it to show on the screen, but we switched the DVD player and cctv over in the HDMI sockets and it now all works fine. Although it says we have 2 other brand DVDs plugged in and not cctv and a dvd, not sure why that is.
The picture quality is amazing, so sharp, we thought our old tv was good, till we turned the OLED tv on! The colours are so crisp.
Initially we did think about getting a soundbar, but to be fair, the sound quality is so good, there really is no need.
We have it set to sports mode, as that's mainly what's watched and you really feel like you are almost in the pitch with them.
The remote is easy to use and browsing the web is superfast and made easier with the rollerball.
Netflix and Prime were easy to sign into and it's so fast to just press the Netflix button to start viewing.
It was really easy to connect to my LG Thinq app and great I can control it from the app.
So far we're very impressed with the tv and the quality, but didn't expect anything less from LG.
