OLED55C24LA
Exceptional Panel, Adequate…

My OLED55C24LA is my first foray into the OLED world and I have to say despite being hesitant for years I wish I had done it sooner. If you are debating whether the additional expense of an OLED panel is for you, the answer is a wholehearted yes. Especially if you spend more than an hour or two a day watching TV like me.
If you have access to HDR content from nearly any streaming service this TV just crushes anything else. The brightness outshines anything and the blacks are truly black. The built-in speakers are average for a TV of this size but I would strongly recommend looking into a sound bar to accompany your exceptional new television.
LG have redesigned WebOS for this generation of TV and I feel like this is the only real let down with this panel. I have a 3 year old LG TV running the older version of WebOS and the interface is significantly easier to navigate and far less intrusive. For example. Pushing the home button on this system fills your entire screen with "trending" content from streaming services, weather updates, and LG "smart home" shortcuts when all I wanted to do was switch between Netflix and youtube. This initial load takes a second or two to load in the unneeded content and just makes the whole experience a bit disappointing. Luckily this is solved by using an external device for streaming purposes such as a Nvidia shield.
On the whole though, a highly recommended panel from LG coupled with an external media device you will be in content heaven for many years to come.
