Milkshake never looked…

I have had the tv for almost 2 weeks now and I am very pleased so far. It is an upgrade in size from my previous 65" B6 LG OLED and a big upgrade in terms of brightness. The panel also looks a lot cleaner, I can't see any uniformity issues in real content, this was not the case with my B6. I watch a variety of content and so far everything has looked great (apart from non hd source material but at 77", this is to be expected), particularly animated children's shows and UHD HDR movies. Unfortunately the football season has finished so not watched much sport and not had a chance to try out any gaming, however I am expecting good things thanks to the gaming features this tv has (VRR, HDMI 2.1 etc). One slight negative however is that I prefer the non full screen home page for WEBOS on the B6.
In terms of design, it looks fantastic and is well built, with a heatsink on the rear. We decided to wall mount with the provided gallery mount, there is a recess on the back for wires to help the tv sit flat against the wall, resulting in a very clean look. The installation was fairly straight forward but would recommend a third person to help guide the tv onto the mount. I also like the redesigned remote, although a backlight would've been nice.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a feature rich 77" tv, that offers great picture quality and a stylish design, look no further than the LG G2
