Positive first impressions

Received my 55G2 today and very impressed considering I already own a 55B7 and 55E9. I bought a table top stand for it and the set up was easy.
The setup process is very straight forward and easy to follow.
The auto detection of all connected HDMI products worked very well and the tv accurately identified the type of device and manufacturer.
Apps were also easy to set up but maybe this is partially due to my previous experience of earlier WebOS versions.
A more in depth update on picture quality will follow in a few days’ time but here are my current findings:-
The good
Range of available picture modes, some very accurate
Range of picture adjustments
Sound quality is perfectly adequate
All four HDMI are 2.1
Design
Premium feel of tv
The OK
A minor improvement over last year’s models though competition from other manufacturers is strong
WebOS is cluttered but works very well
The bad
Nothing to mention just yet
The unforgivable
No support for DTS at all, not even pass through
A lovely TV so far and I am really looking forward to spending more time watching it!
