UPDATE: After using and testing the TV for a couple of weeks I noticed sections of the top of the screen being brighter than others if looking at it from a slight angle (the only way to avoid them is to look at the screen precisely in front of it). This is noticeable mainly with the black bars on widescreen movies. There's also the issue of brightness fluctuating automatically when subtitles appear an disappear on screen, even after following suggestions online to turn off all settings that adjust the brightness automatically. It's a bit of shame to have these issues.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am very happy with the purchase of this QLED TV. It's easy to set up, but you need to lift it with somebody else because it's heavy. You also need a large table to rest it on to fit the base. The cable managing system to hide them on the back ot the base is not very efficient, but you can also use small ties you can stick on the left and right side on the back. Picture wise, it's impressive. There are lot of settings to fiddle with and, if you are into accurate movie quality, you will need to finely tune the various "cinema modes". I particuarly dislike the "smoothess" effect that adds frames to the image to make camera movements appear more fluid, and it took me a bit to find a way to disable it. I am still experimenting with the settings. I tested movies on Blu-Ray and streaming platforms, and also tried playing games on it. Sound is very good, with different mode (sports, cinema, voice, etc.). I would have liked less confusing settings and maybe, just to be picky, player buttons (stop, play, pause, etc.) on the slick remote. But, a part form that, I am happy with the TV.
