Looks great and easy to…

This washer/dryer looks great and appears to have many functions. So far, the washing side has been great, there are plenty of cycles and it is easy to use. I particularly like the smart dosing feature which allows you to choose how much liquid to use for each wash. It is also pretty quiet for most of the cycle with the exception of a small amount when it starts to go really fast. The only problem so far is the drying side which seems to make the machine really hot. It also managed to shrink some clothes which never happened with my old separate washer and dryer. After using it for a few weeks I have found there are a small amount of settings that can be changed for drying including the temperature and length of the drying programme. Another problem with the drying side is that it leaves some fluff stuck to the door seal which needs to be cleaned off after each use. It doesn't seem to have a filter in the same way that separate dryers do.
This machine also has the ThinQ smart app which allows you to operate some features through an app. Not really found much use for this yet but I still like the idea of it. Also, it can take a while to connect, it doesn't like 5ghz networks so you have to set your router to 2.4ghz to get it to work.
Overall there is no doubt this is a great machine, it just doesn't compare to having separate ones. It is space saving which is why we went for it in the first place though. I guess it is an issue of compromise, saving space against performance.
