All in One and One for…

Having just started our own consultancy business this was the perfect time to try a new printer. Lots of little printing projects have arisen and to be honest this little printer has proven to be a bit of a bargain so far.
Arriving promptly unboxing was easy. Everything wrapped up well it was a bit like Christmas, peeling back the layers of bubble wrap and paper revealing a compact yet rather chunky piece of HP tecnology.
Taking some of the little blue sticky tape off was a bit of a chore at times, finding the bit that lifted to get to the end but other than that, everything common sense really.
Plugged in and ready to go we followed the instructions to fit the print cartridges and I have to admit I had a look online at an online video as I was unsure as to how to clip the cartridge in. On my machine the little clips seemed more flimsy and I was worried that the colour one in particular would snap, alas it didnt and watching online gave me more confidence that I was doing the right thing. The diagrams on the start up sheet make it look less fiddly than it was.
Set up, plugged in.... cartridges ready next was to get it working. I downloaded the HP Smart App on my phone and it was set to go.
Printing is seamless, you ask it to do the job and then immediately there it goes, printing away. I love the fact that you can choose to print anywhere, you can take a photo whilst out and then get home to find it waiting for you on the desk.
I had some application forms to print for Uni which took no time at all but after 30 sheets or so said ink running low.
I have previously had a DeskJet 2630 and used the Instant Ink Service before so it was no surprise that I soon received a message saying that new cartridges were in the post. I assume as its a new printer the first cartridges are always just a token gesture to get you going and hope that the refill cartridges last a few more sheets.
So far our little machine has coped with letter writing, essay writing, application forms, photographs and the odd handprint (that's what having boys in the house is like!) It has'nt so far screeched to a halt every two pages demanding a paper refill or refused with blinking lights to log onto a wifi connection like the DeskJet..... touch wood this isn't just luck and it's how the printer is going to go on!
Conclusion so far.... a nice little compact, easy to set up, easy to maintain cute little printer that is hopefully going to be reliable and effective in our home office!
