Looks nice as a plain watch

I got this as a gift from my partner after seeing it. It comes in a sealed compact plastic box, with charger, quick start guide and guarantee info.
The charger is USB. The watch doesn't have a socket for the cable, it simply sits on a round plate at the end of the charger. Quick and easy to use, maybe not so easy to replace if needed.
I got the version with the rose gold face and leather strap. It looks very pretty and is not as big and bulky as I thought it would be. The strap looks quite thick so I hope it lasts a long time.
The quick start guide pretty much tells you how to switch it on. Everything else is on the app, which is not very easy to use. The help info is also not very informative, I ended up googling what other people had done to learn the functions.
I would say this is just a watch for someone who wants to track steps or monitor HR. You wouldn't wear it for running or sports. The leather strap would get all sweaty (yuck). There's no touch screen either which I assumed there would be. Only a double tap on the screen to turn the back light on, which doesn't always work. The buttons on the watch control the menus and they are quite difficult to navigate.
One nice feature was you can customise the screen background. It's only in black and white however and the image quality is very poor. Trying to find out how to change the pictures was a task as well.
In all it looks like a nice watch, with some added features. It's retail cost should be much lower as it lacks many features you'd expect at this range. I'll continue to use it for normal day to day wear.
