Galaxy Watch 6 Classic

I previously owned a Galaxy Watch 2, and this is a real step up in terms of aesthetics, ergonomics, usability and functionality. The display is clear and super vivid, even in bright sunlight, the out of the box strap is comfortable and doesn't feel clammy on the skin, and I absolutely love the bevelled watch face rim that allows for easy navigation between tiles and within apps. The watch has a really nice balanced weight when on the wrist.

Setup of the watch was straightforward, and I didn't encounter any problems; I paired the watch with my Android mobile phone, downloaded the watch software on my phone, signed into my Google account, selected the apps that I wanted to install, and was away. The whole process took no longer than a few minutes. Connecting to wifi and pairing to my bluetooth headset was easy, as was adding payment cards to my Google wallet.

Samsung offers an excellent selection of digital and analogue watch faces for every taste, as well as a good number of useful third-party apps including ‘no brainers’ like Strava and Spotify.

Security features are really good; I really like that I'm promoted to authenticate only when the watch has been removed from my wrist, and I was able to configure whether I wanted to authenticate using a pin or swipe pattern.

The one gripe that I have with the watch is its battery life - I've found that with moderate use the watch needs to be charged every day. However, display options and a 'battery saving' mode are available, which I suspect would significantly reduce battery consumption, and the wireless recharging itself is lightening quick - a notable improvement over other smart watched that I've used.

All in all, I’m delighted with this watch!
